Aamir Khan's Talaash to hit the theatres even before its release!
Known for his appreciation of detail and a ready mix of masala and meaningful cinema, the Perfectionist Aamir Khan surely has something unique in planning for every movie. Knowing his audiences' hunger, Aamir has yet again come up with a unique idea for his upcoming Talaash in order to shape it up and make it a major hit.
A leading daily reports, Aamir has planned for four screenings of his movie Talaash in order to fetch some feedbacks and public opinions. Though the makers of the film has decided to screen the movie even before its release, they will make it sure that the climax remains a secret.
Possibly this is one of the reasons why Talaash's release date has been delayed. But sources say that the real cause for such a delay was due to Aamir's TV show that met with an unfortunate fire accident. Talaash is now scheduled for Diwali release.

IPL to cricket experts
The fifth season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) began under a cloud. Will it die down or continue to flourish? That and questions of similar tone kept coming leading up to the opening game on April 4. But 53 matches later, the league continues to be a run-away success thanks to the number of humdingers it has thrown up this year.
Looking at it from an expert's eye, the IPL is much more than fun, frolic, music, cheerleaders and whacking the ball out of the park. It's entertainment all right, but nothing without the serious business of competition on a cricket field. Here are excerpts from the Cricketnext.com blogs written by eminent cricket personalities.
Aakash Chopra
The 245th Indian to represent India in Test Cricket.
"At the inception of the IPL, the league needed the marquee players to participate, perform and carry the tournament on their shoulders. These players responded magnificently to the cause and captivated the audience with the sheer brilliance of their skill and the IPL became a runaway hit. But five years down the line, had the same players continued to play on their muscle memory and perform as well as the ones who are sweating it out in international cricket, the relevance of this format would have come under scrutiny."
Suresh Menon
Editor, Wisden India Almanack, and author, most recently, of 'Bishan: Portrait of a Cricketer'.
"In a year when the national team has performed badly in England and Australia, when the Indian team seems to have lost something in transition, the scandal-hit IPL will have to woo sponsors and the public with greater sensitivity. This, its fifth year, will be crucial, perhaps even game-changing ... IPL 5 assumes significance because the ICC World Twenty20 is scheduled for September in Sri Lanka. India won the title in 2007 and changed the face of cricket. The IPL was established the following year. The tournament has pushed the fringe performers, the obscure names onto centre stage. More significantly, it has given them financial security. "
R Mohan
Leading cricket writer, who rose to be the Resident Editor at the Deccan Chronicle.
"It is not the critics who count. Some of their views on the premier league may be very negative but the fact remains that the IPL is here to stay as a successful business model."
Nokia announces 808 PureView: Symbian Belle(OS), 4-inch display, 41-megapixel camera!
Remember that Nokia PureView tease from a few days ago? Well, suddenly it all makes sense. We are indeed looking at an imaging flagship phone and a true successor to the N8. It's called the 808 PureView and it's expected to reach Europe in the next quarter for a price of 450 Euros. Before we move on to its craziest feature -- the camera, of course! -- let's run down the other key specs: The OS is Symbian Belle; the engine is a 1.3GHz single-core chip; the display is 4-inches corner to corner but its resolution is a Nokia-style 360 x 640 (nHD). There's 512MB of RAM and 16GB of on-board storage that is thankfully expandable via microSD. A Pentaband modem increases the chances of getting a signal while globe-trotting, while data speeds will top out at plain HSPA 14.4Mbps. Now that Carl Zeiss-lensed camera: it handles continuous-focus 1080p, but is claimed to have an incredible sensor resolution of over 41-megapixels when shooting stills -- or 34-megapixels for 16:9 images. It uses some clever interpolation jiggery-pokery that condenses four or five pixels into one pixel, to produce a smaller file size for the output image. It's expected to arrive in May at a price of €450 and if you're curious, we've got a gallery of hands-on images and video for your viewing pleasure. Just follow the break for our first impressions.
If you haven't been sufficiently smacked in the face with the Nokia 808 PureView's primary selling point, let's settle the score right now: it's a phone for camera enthusiasts. As niche devices often go, the sheer optical goodness will come with a few sacrifices. First and foremost, we're a bit puzzled by Nokia's choice of Symbian for the phone's OS. That's not to say that Belle isn't a fine operating system, but it's certainly a polarizing decision -- not to mention perplexing, given the company's 'all-in' approach to Windows Phone. Secondly, the 808 PureView is rather chunky, which is emphasized by the bulbous camera pod on the rear. In many ways, Nokia's phone more closely rivals a point-and-shoot camera in size than a smartphone. That said, it's still an infinitely pocketable handset, but there are certainly many other high-quality camera phones on the market that don't demand such sacrifices.
If you're able to move beyond these two major caveats, the 808 PureView is likely a handset that many will come to adore -- even if the fondness is learned over time. It features a lovely ClearBlack display, and while it's decidedly low-res, it's more than sufficient for Symbian Belle and its associated apps. Below the phone's screen, users will find an extended rocker that provides access to the home screen, dialer and on / off switch. These physical buttons are combined with additional navigation options that are situated directly above on the touchscreen. The phone also features a headphone jack, micro-USB and micro-HDMI ports along the top -- each recessed into a pod of their own -- and the volume rocker, screen lock slider and dedicated camera button along the right-hand side.
The entire rear of the phone is encased in a hard, matte plastic that's quite a contrast to the glossy materials on the front. Given the choice, we greatly prefer some of the of the soft touch and ceramic-like plastics that are on the market. While the build quality seems quite good, the 808's materials don't convey a premiere device. Further, while the phone felt well-balanced and comfortable in the hand, the large protrusion of the camera pod greatly dictated how we held the 808 PureView. As with many aspects of this phone, it's likely an aspect that potential buyers will immediately embrace or find entirely off-putting.

Satyameva Jayate Title song: Lyrics, Translation
Satyameva Jayate Title song: Lyrics, Translation
Here are the lyrics of the title song ' Satyameva Jayate, written by Prasoon Joshi and composed by Ram Sampath.
Tera rangg aisa chadh gayaa
Koi aur rang na chadh sake
Tera naam seeney pe likha
Har koi aake padh sakey
Hai junoon hai junoon hai
Tere ishq ka ye junoon hai
Rag rag mein ishq tera daudtaa
Yeh baawra sa khoon hai
Tune hi sikhaya sachaion ka matlab
Tere paas aake jaana maine zindagi ka maksad
Satyamev, satyamev, satyamev jayate
Sachcha hai pyaar tera, satyamev jayate
Your color is on me now,
no other color can be there over it,
your name is written on my chest,
everyone can come and read..
It's a passion, a passion,
the passion of your love it is,
In my veins your love runs,
it's this mad blood..
You only taught the meaning of truths,
Coming to you only did I learn life's motive..
Truth alone, truth alone, truth alone triumphs,
your love is true, truth alone triumphs..
Tere noor ke dastoor mein
Na ho salwatein na shikan rahe
Meri koshishen toh hai bas yahee
Rahein khushbuein gulshan rahe
Teri zulf suljhaney chala
Terey aur paas aaney chala
Jahan koi sur na ho besura
Woh geet main ganey chala
In the custom of your divine light/divinity,
nor there be any creases, nor wrinkles,
My try is only this that-
these fragrances remain, this garden remains..
I began to untangle your hair,
began to come closer to you..
Where no note is out of tune,
I began to sing that song..
Tera rang aisa chadh gaya
Tha nasha jo aur bhi badh gaya
Teri barishon ka karam hai ye
Main nikhar Gaya main sanwar gaya
Jaisa bhi hoon apnaa mujhey
Mujhey ye nahin hain bolna
Kabil tere main ban sakoo
Mujhey dwaar aisa kholna
Sanson ki is raftaar ko
Dhadkan ke is tyohaar ko
Har jeet ko har haar ko
Khud apney is sansaar ko
Badloonga main tere liye
Your color came on me such,
that the intoxication increased,
it's the kindness of your rains,
that I got cleaned/nurtured, I became better..
However I may be, accept me-
I don't have to say that.
I can be good enough for you,
I have open such a door..
This speed of breaths,
This festival of heartbeats,
This victory, this loss,
This world of my own self,
I'll change (it all) for you...
Mujhey khud ko bhi hai tatolna
Kahin hai kami to hai bolna
Khahin daag hain toh chhupayen kyon
Hum sach se nazrein hatayen kyon
khud ko badalna hai agar
Badloonga main tere liye
Sholon pe chalna hai agar
Chal doonga main tere liye
Mere khoon ki har boond mein
Sankalp ho tere pyaar ka
Kaato mujhey to tu bahe
Ho surkh rang har dhaar ka
I have to search myself too,
If there is something missing, I have to speak out,
If there are blots, why should we hide them,
Why should we remove our eyes from the truth,
If I have to change myself,
I will change, for you..
If I have to walk on fire,
I'll walk, for you..
In every drop of my blood,
There should be a promise of your love,
When I'm given a cut, you should flow out,
And the color of every stream be red..

Aamir’s ‘Satyamev Jayate’ review
Already picking up speed at a tremendous rate, the show Satyamev Jayate by Aamir Khan is the most anticipated TV debut right now!
The show opened to full houses on Sunday morning and pretty much everyone seemed to be hooked to the show that was aired.
The first show brought forth the topic of female foeticide and saw some poignant real life tales. Industry friends like Farhan Akhtar, Preity Zinta and others lauded Aamir's effort.
In fact, some of the people from the industry like young actress Nidhi Subbaiah tweeted saying "How about Aamir Khan for president?"

LOS ANGELES - A smashing $80.5 million US Friday has The Avengers poised to challenge the record for the biggest box office opening on record.
The Avengers is now projected to take in around $170 million at the domestic box office over the weekend. The Friday haul puts Disney and Marvel Entertainment’s superhero mashup in the rare air of last year’s “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2,” which holds the record at $169.1 million. That movie took in $91.1 million on its first day, also a record.
The Avengers surpassed its $220 million production costs some time ago. Since opening a week ago overseas, the film is on track to raise its overall foreign gross to more than $500 million by the end of this weekend.
Word-of-mouth - the film received an A+ CinemaScore rating from Friday audiences - is helping. At one point Friday, online movie seller Fandango was selling 19 tickets per second to The Avengers, spokesman Harry Medved told TheWrap Saturday morning.
The Avengers is playing at 4,340 locations this weekend, 3,364 of which are 3-D, 275 are Imax screens.
Screen Gems’ Think Like A Man, did an estimated $2.6 million Friday, bringing its cumulative domestic gross to $67.7 million.
The Pirates! Band of Misfits, from Aardman and Sony Pictures Animation, took in $1.3 million at 3,358 locations.
On Friday, The Avengers roared out of the box office gate, grossing $18.7 million from roughly 2,500 midnight screenings to kick off its North American debut.
Of that, $1.31 million came from 273 IMAX theatres.
Deathly Hallows, Part 2 brought in a whopping $43.5 million at midnight shows last year on its way to its record weekend, and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn made $30.3 million in midnight shows on its way to a $138.1 million debut.
More recently, The Hunger Games brought in $19.7 million from midnight showings on its way to a $155 million opening weekend. The Dark Knight earned $18.5 million at midnight back in 2008, and went on to a $158 million debut weekend.
Iron Man 2, however, did $7.5 million in midnight shows and still went on to post Marvel’s best opening weekend ever at $159.9 million in 2010.
The ensemble cast of The Avengers features Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Mark Ruffalo. Joss Whedon co-wrote with Zak Penn and directed the film, which brings many of Marvel’s pantheon of comic book superheroes together for the first time. The film is produced by Marvel Studios’ President Kevin Feige and executive produced by Alan Fine, Jon Favreau, Stan Lee, Louis D’Esposito, Patricia Whitcher, Victoria Alonso and Jeremy Latcham.

I'll take Bollywood away from Salman Khan: Chris Gayle

IN BANGALORE: "I am going to rock Bollywood and take it away from Salman Khan," says Chris with a smile, adding, though, that he hasn't seen a single Bollywood film yet.
We dig a little further to check if the mighty cricketer is pulling a fast one but, Chris says it all with a straight and serious expression, "Shah Rukh will sort it out for me I am sure." He adds, "I did joke about it with Shahrukh, but I am seriously looking for a big break in Bollywood next year. I do see myself doing a Bollywood film and even music videos for that matter. Gaylestorm will hit Bollywood soon."
Chris, who enjoys the beats of Indian music, has danced with Shah Rukh on stage in the past and, though, he hasn't met many Bollywood sirens other than Preity Zinta and Shlipa Shetty, he finds a few of them quite pretty. "I am sure all the heroines would want to meet me, just ask them," says Chris with a cheeky grin.
For Chris, IPL is a mix of both entertainment and sport, he says, "It is a business where a lot of money has been invested and every team wants to win. The responsibility of the players is to help place their brand above the other."
